Sadhya Special Cabbage Thoran

In this video shows that how to make cabbage thoran one of the most popular and must Onam sadhya item in entire kerala. Cabbage thoran not only delicious and healthy too.

I N G R E D I E N T S :

Cabbage - 300 g
Grated coconut - 1 cup - 100 g
Shallots - 50 g
Green chilli - 2 - 10 g
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp - 2.5 ml
Salt - ½ tbsp - 7.5 ml
Coconut oil - 2 tbsp - 30 ml
Mustard - ½ tsp - 2.5 ml
Dried red chilli - 4
Black gram - 1 tbsp - 15 g
Curry leaves

METHOD:
In a large bowl, add the cabbage, coconut, green chilli, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well using your hands.Then in a pan, heat the coconut oil. Add mustard seeds and dry red chilli.when they splutter, add the urad dal and curry leaves. Then add
the cabbage mixture to the pan. Stir well and cover with a lid. Cook on low heat.
