SOUND ON🔊 Recipe Alert: FISH FRY🐠
.
Fish Fry is a very important part of Bengali cuisine. So to curb my cravings, I decided to give it a South Indian twist🤤. Ordered these beautiful, fresh Roopchand Fish steaks from @licious_foods .
Let me tell you, all the magic in the fish fry comes extensively from the marination, consisting of these gorgeous Indian Spices🤩.
.
---Marinade INGREDIENTS---
- Some Coriander leaves
- Some Curry leaves
- Garlic cloves / paste
- Green Chillies
- Ginger / ginger paste
- Yellow Mustard seeds
- Salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Jeera powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
- Half a Lemon's juice
- 1-2 Tbsp Curd

---STEPS---
- As shown in the video, grind all the above mentioned spices. You can see that some of the ingredients are not properly measured. The reason being, all those can be added/deleted, quantity increased/decreased as per your choice and taste🤗.
- After it becomes a thick paste, apply it to both sides of the steak and marinate for at least 30 min.
- Fry both sides in a pan, using mustard oil (or any oil, depending on your taste), on low heat, till they become beautifully brown.

It's ready to serve! ENJOY😍!
